Foodbank Rus Has Signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Yekaterinburg Diocese

Yulia Nazarova, President of the Charity Foundation Foodbank Rus and Evgeniy, Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, signed an agreement on cooperation in charity. The parties agreed to cooperate in developing commodity charity, volunteerism, and strengthening the educational mission in the region.

Yulia Nazarova, President of Foodbank Rus and co-founder of the media project About Food Sharing: “The Russian Orthodox Church is one of the oldest partners of Foodbank Rus. Church-based NPOs and parishes are a key infrastructure element of the national network of food banks and food sharing partners. This has a reason: conciliarity, which involves help to neighbors, mercy, and volunteerism, is part of our cultural code. This is how we revive the culture of charity and social volunteering, getting back to basics: national spiritual values, traditions, and identity. Due to cooperation with the Yekaterinburg Diocese, we will be able to provide commodity aid to even more people in difficult situations.”
