We announced opening of two Foodbankrus branches: one is a regional branch in Karelia. Also, assistance to those in need is provided through a new branch in Vladimir. In total, the regional division received more than 100 tons of products.
In total, 76,013 food packages were handed over to the entire country in July: 52,000 to needy families and about 24,000 to pensioners.
Every day, volunteers deliver food to needy retirees and low-income families with children. All volunteers in the warehouse still work in personal protective equipment, and before leaving for a shift, they undergo compulsory training, receive masks, antiseptics and gloves.
We regularly receive consignments of products and essential goods at our warehouses. All this is possible thanks to our volunteers and partners.
Kellogg Rus LLC is one of such partners. During the pandemic, as part of the #МЫВМЕСТЕ (#MYVMESTE) campaign, the company donated €40,000 for the purchase and transfer of essential food kits.
In July, there was a collection of animal feed in stores in Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Samara and Moscow and a new online collection for Moscow and Moscow region was launched to the Day of Homeless Animals, which is celebrated around the world on the third Saturday of August.
The volume of aid shipped in July amounted to 111 thousand kg throughout the country.
