The results of the first year of the mos.ru/blago charitable service were discussed at the meeting of the expert council on charity and volunteering of the Public Chamber of the city of Moscow. The discussion was attended by representatives of the Information Technology Department, the Public Relations Committee, the Public Chamber, Mosvolonter and non-profit organizations, President of the FoodBank RUS Yulia Nazarova.
During the first year of operation, 13,904 people made a donation through the service, for a total amount of 8.6 million rubles. Caring citizens donated funds for 55 NGOs working in various fields: children, adults, people with disabilities, the elderly, animals, food security.
By the way, now it's even easier to use the service and do a good deed - the obligatory authorization procedure for donors has been removed.
