Charity Foundation Foodbank Rus

The first food sharing organization and the largest food bank in Russia, part of the Global FoodBanking Network.

People and producers supply the food bank with food and products to give them away to those in need.

The fund has been creating and implementing unique tools and technologies to improve quality of life and protect environment since 2012. The fund has distributed 50 mln kg of food and products among those in need, prevented 230 thousand tons of CO2 emissions, and changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people for the better every year.

What we’ve done over a decade:

have become the second largest

charity fund in Russia in terms of volume of assistance provided in monetary terms

have become experts in food sharing

and introduced the technology into the business processes of the largest manufacturers and retail chains: we help businesses use resources reasonably

have gathered 16 thousand volunteers

in 60+ regions of Russia into a community of caring, active, and enterprising people

have opened 16 local food banks

and continue to develop a national network of food banks and food sharing organizations under a supervision of a local operator in the regions

We provide food and basic necessities to families in difficult situations and single pensioners.

We help shelters take care of pets and donate feed to them.

We sent 625+ thousand kg of feed for 53 thousand pets

We reduce the amount of food waste and CO2 emissions. We teach people sustainable consumption.

We have prevented 230 thousand tons of CO2 emissions.
